Inet-Toolbox Home School Connection:
Computer and Internet courses for Homeschoolers
Collaboratively developed by curriculum and software specialists on the
Inet-Toolbox training team with assistance from homeschooling parents,
these programs are designed to meet the unique needs of home based educators.
Courses are for students and parents together, and use project-based learning
activities that work with the educational program you are already providing
at home. As an added bonus, homeschoolers who are registered in any of
our Home School Connection Programs qualify for educational pricing in

Create your own schedule! Courses are booked on request for groups of
four students with parents.

Introduction to Computers
A quick course that will help you become more comfortable with your PC,
this session provides students and parents with terminology and file management
techniques, as well as shortcuts and good practices for keeping your electronic

Technology Primer: An Introduction to Word, PowerPoint,
and Excel
A six part course during which students will learn word processing, presentations,
and spreadsheets while completing their own finished learning project!
Prior to starting this program, students must have begun a content-based
project in any subject area. View

Internet Searching and Research
A six part course during which students will learn effective Web searching

Building Web Pages to Showcase Projects
A six part course during which students will learn the basics of Web
page design and construction in order to present their projects on the
World Wide Web. Prior to starting this program, students must decide whether
they want to present one of their content-based projects on the Web, or
create a portfolio to showcase their work for the year. View
