Using Microsoft Word to build Web Pages

With Microsoft Word, even very young students can begin building web pages. With familiar features used for creating word-processing documents, students can quickly put together basic web pages that include graphics, formatted text, and hyperlinks without knowing any HTML. In this hands-on workshop participants will:

• learn design basics for Web pages
• use web page wizards and templates to create pages
• create custom web pages in Word
• convert previously created Word documents into Web Pages
• use themes to add visual appeal to Webpages
