Spreadsheets or Databases - what's the difference?

Not sure whether your data should go into a spreadsheet or a database. Attend this workshop to learn how, why, and when! Then you'll explore how to incorporate these powerful tools into your classroom using Appleworks. Participants who attend this session will:

• learn where spreadsheets and databases fit into the ICT curriculum
• explore other curriculum areas where spreadsheets and databases could be used
• use Clarisworks / Appleworks to create simple spreadsheet
• use Clarisworks / Appleworks to create a simple database
• explore additional resources
• plan and create curriculum based spreadsheets and databases
• view examples of educators' projects with spreadsheets and databases

Participants should bring disks if they wish to save their projects.
