Introduction to Kid Pix

Have you seen Kid Pix on the computers at your school but are not sure how to use it? If so, this session is for you! This workshop provides those who are not familiar with Kid Pix the opportunity to explore and use this fantastic multimedia software. Participants who attend this session will:

• learn the various tools within Kid Pix
• explore the paint, draw, and slideshow tools
• create a simple slideshow
• learn differences between Kid Pix and Kid Pix Studio
• plan and create a simple curriculum based project for the classroom
• view examples of classroom projects
• explore the resources available for Kid Pix

Participants are welcome to bring disks if they wish to save their projects.
