Incorporating Digital Imagery into your Classroom Projects: scanning, digital cameras and basic image manipulation

If a picture is worth a thousand words, how and where do you include them into your school-based projects? Learn just how fun and powerful images can be when you include them in your classroom! In this session you'll work with a digital camera, scanner, and clip art from the Web while exploring how to use images in your projects. Participants of this session will:

  • Operate a scanner and create digital images
  • Use a digital camera and learn basic image formatting options
  • Manipulate the images created from the scanner and digital camera
  • Locate and download free images on the Internet
  • Insert images into Word, PowerPoint, or KidPix documents

Bring some pictures to incorporate into your project and some disks to save your work to take back to school!
