Projects using Kid Pix in the Division I & II / Elementary Classroom

Kid Pix is a paint program, word processor and multimedia tool all in one! Learn how to incorporate this popular program into your classroom or computer lab by creating projects that achieve the ICT outcomes. This session will provide those who are familiar with Kid Pix the opportunity to extend their use of the many of the tools found within the program. Participants who attend this session will:

• learn where Kid Pix fits into the ICT and other curriculum areas
• create talking pictures
• create animated pictures
• create multimedia slideshows and story boards
• create templates for student use
• create projects that can be used in the classroom
• view examples of classroom projects
• incorporate digital images into Kid Pix projects
• plan and create a curriculum based project

Participants are welcome to bring their own digital images and disks if they wish save their projects.
