Achieving the ICT Outcomes in the Division I & II / Elementary Classroom

Not sure how to incorporate the new Information and Communication Technology outcomes into your elementary classroom? The ICT curriculum is designed to be integrated into the existing curriculum - the lessons and curriculum you already have! This session explores practical ways of integrating word processing, email, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations into your current curricula. Participants in this session will:

• review the ICT outcomes for Division 1
• discuss ways to achieve the ICT outcomes using word processing, email, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software
• examine and plan where to implement the ICT outcomes into the Division I & II curriculum
• discuss how to assess the ICT outcomes
• view websites and projects to achieve the ICT outcomes in Division I & II
• plan technology based projects in the core curriculum areas
