Publishing PowerPoint Presentations on the Web

PowerPoint is a great tool for creating presentations and tutorials, but converting them so they run effectively across the Web can be a challenge. With a few tips and pointers, you can take your current PowerPoint presentations and optimize them for delivery across the Internet or through your local Intranet. During this hands-on workshop, participants will:

• prepare your PowerPoint slide show for a Web format
• add navigational buttons and hyperlinks
• add graphics and animations
• fine tune your show for Web-based use
• convert your slide show for use on the Web
• publish your presentation to the Internet
• consider additional tools that can convert your presentation to a Flash animation

*This is a hands-on session. Participants should bring a 4-6 slide PowerPoint presentation to work on during this workshop, which they will have the opportunity to publish at the end of the course.
