Building Web Sites with Dreamweaver - level 1

Dreamweaver is a powerful web authoring and administration tool that can make the work of web site creation much easier. This workshop is an introduction to the use of Dreamweaver in creating web pages and sites. In this hands-on workshop participants will:

• get acquainted with the Dreamweaver environment
• use toolbars, palettes and Property Inspector
• create custom web pages that include formatting and lists
• add graphics and image maps
• create and use Dreamweaver page templates
• create and use hyperlinks
• format text and add special characters
• use tables for data and layout
• create pages using frames
• use the link checker and HTML clean-up features
• configure Dreamweaver to upload your site to the Internet

This is a hands-on session where it is recommended that participants be familiar with basic HTML coding and concepts.
