Photo Editing with Adobe Photoshop Elements

Digital photography has eliminated the need for darkrooms and messy chemicals. It has also given photographers a great deal of control over the final object. In this workshop we will use Adobe Photoshop Elements to modify images for display as prints, on web pages and in documents. Among the topics to be covered are:

• Workflow
• Transferring pictures from camera to computer
• Using RAW, JPEG, TIFF, GIF and BMP file formats
• Removing red eye
• Rotating Cropping and re-sizing
• Enhancing contrast/brightness
• Improving colour balance
• Creating panoramas
• Using special effects
• Adding text
• Assembling slide shows
• Saving for the web, documents, and print

Bring your own pictures (in JPEG or TIFF) formats on a CD-ROM or use our selected photos.
