Quick Introduction to Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is a powerful tool for creating, editing, and manipulating graphics for inclusion in print publications or on the Web. Learn how to use the tools in Photoshop to create your own graphics from scratch, modify graphics you already have, add some text, and get your images ready to launch into production. This short workshop is for those who want a quick introduction to Photoshop rather than learning about all of the features available. Participants who attend this session will:

• examine and use palettes and tools in Photoshop
• use tools and palette options to manipulate existing graphics
• create and customize basic images from scratch
• crop and resize images
• adjust brightness, contrast, and colour levels
• save images for output to print or the Web

This is a hands-on workshop that is fast-paced so participants must have a good level of comfort using their computer.
