Desktop Publishing with Microsoft Publisher

It has never been easier to create your own greeting cards, brochures, flyers, banners, newsletters, catalogues, and more! Microsoft Publisher provides all the tools you need to create a variety of professional-looking publications. In this one-day workshop you will learn how to tap into the power of Microsoft Publisher to create your publications quickly and easily! During this session, participants will:

• consider elements of design in desktop publishing
• select an appropriate publication format
• use the Publisher design gallery
• use wizards and templates to build publications quickly
• edit, move and format text in the publications
• add and manipulate pictures
• add style and visual impact with drawing tools and Word Art
• incorporate tables and tabs for effective layout
• use proofing tools to fine-tune your publication

This is a hands-on session. Participants will work with Publisher to create a publication during this session.
