FTP with Fetch

FTP allows you to move files between remote computers across the Internet very quickly. This course combines the File Transfer Protocol session with the specifics of using Fetch as your FTP software to upload and download files. This course covers:

• when and why you would use FTP to move files
• the types of FTP you can use
• setting up connections in Fetch
• modifying how files are viewed
• moving single files and batches of files
• viewing downloaded files

This is a hands-on session. Participants will spend time moving files between their workstation and a server using Fetch.
