How to Use the Site Search Feature

Our site search will only search for text on pages within the Inet-Toolbox Web site and will limit results to 50 pages. The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions using the AND, OR, and NOT operators in capital letters, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

information retrieval
finds documents containing 'information' or 'retrieval'

information ORretrieval
same as above

information AND retrieval
finds documents containing both 'information' and 'retrieval'

information NOT retrieval
finds documents containing 'information' but not 'retrieval'

(information NOT retrieval) AND internet
finds documents containing 'internet', plus 'information' but not 'retrieval'
