Rickey Norwood

Rickey Norwood was a Teacher-Librarian for the Calgary Board of Education (CBE) for 27 years. She spent three years as a consultant with CBE’s Media Services where she had responsibility for resource selection and evaluation as well as collection/program development and implementation.

Rickey has led numerous workshops on a variety of library related topics. She has prepared presentations for U of C classes, teacher-librarians, library support staff, principal groups and colleagues at her schools. Her ten years of involvement on the local and provincial executives of the Learning Resources Council, along with her four years on the SAIT Library School Advisory Board have given her a broad perspective on library concerns.
