Elisabeth Hegerat

Elisabeth Hegerat has worked in academic, corporate, public, and school libraries. She has a Master's of Library and Information Studies from the University of Alberta and has worked on digitization projects, built graphic novel collections, and reviews YA materials and graphic novels for several publications. She is currently an elementary school librarian for Foundations for the Future Charter Academy, and a library substitute for the Calgary Board of Education. Elisabeth believes in practical application of knowledge, thinks kids’ books are cool, and endeavours to provide opportunities for hands-on experience related to the day-to-day use of course content.
