Our mission is to help people manage their Computer and Internet technologies better at home, at work, at play and at school. Inet-Toolbox provides services to individuals, businesses, and organizations, while offering specialized services for schools and libraries. Inet-Toolbox combines the expertise of many people to offer these services in Alberta, Canada.

We strive to treat each of our clients as individuals. We are considerate of the differing needs and variety of backgrounds that our clients come to us with and we work with them to achieve their goals in their style. We have been providing high quality, practical computer training for over a decade through custom bookings to groups on-location or in rented computer labs. In an effort to ensure the best learning environment for our clients, Inet-Toolbox opened their own training centre in the summer of 2000. In 2003, we relocated and expanded to a larger, newer facility and then did it again in 2006 so we are able to provide even better learning opportunities for our students. We now offer our training centre and meeting room for custom bookings and rentals to outside groups.

Our People-Centric View

Our instructors and facilitators want people to understand why and when they would use certain technologies, not just how to use them. Those who work with Inet-Toolbox view the technology as a tool and emphasize the practical - "how can this technology help people manage their work or communication challenges?". At Inet-Toolbox, we believe that the "why and when" are the important lifelong learning skills needed to be effective users of technology now, and into the future.

Our Instructors

There are a number of specialists such as teachers, librarians, technicians, and IT professionals who work with Inet-Toolbox. They develop training materials, provide sessions in our training program, work on various web projects, as well as suggesting links for the Toolbox Resource Kit and Alberta NetBeat newsletter.
